Save Clearwater Fire was developed by your Clearwater Fire Fighters in an effort to show the waste of hard earned tax payer dollars and the utter disregard of fire fighters in Clearwater by these same elected officials.

Over the last 6 years, the Clearwater tax payer has spent several hundred thousand dollars funding a personal war waged by Clearwater leaders to harass Clearwater firefighters.

This policy of over the top punishment and illegal firings constitute open warfare on Clearwater's Fire Fighters and has resulted in the taxpayer footing the bill for several hundred thousand dollars in legal fees, back pay, and benefits as the City of Clearwater is consistently defeated in a court of law.

The columns on the right represent the numerous attempts by Clearwater Officials to illegally impose their will on Clearwater's fire fighters, violating state employment rules and the contracts agreed to by Clearwater and the Clearwater Firefighters.

As budget cuts loom on the horizon and libraries, elderly programs, and school budgets are under fire, one only needs to look at the costs incurred in these columns and demand accountability for irresponsible leadership that is not serving the citizens of Clearwater in a professional manner.
